Out of Affectionate by Cyclotron. Affectionate’s dam is My Mary who birthed a filly named Mary’s Dream. Mary’s Dream birthed a filly name Dreaming of Summer who won over 1 million on the track and as a broodmare, has had four progeny that have raced. Two progeny of Dreaming of Summer are superstars; Creative Cause winner of over $1 million and placed in the 2012 Preakness as well as Destin who finished second by a nose in the 2016 Belmont Stakes and 6th in the 2016 Kentucky Derby after a troubled trip. The sire is Cyclotron who is currently the leading sire in California in terms of earnings per start in 2016. Cyclotron is relatively unknown but his progeny are doing very well. Buddy Bear is not broke but will start the process in early July with anticipation of going directly to the racetrack afterwards. If all goes well, he could be racing in early 2017.
