Iconic Sky's sire Vronsky was one of California's leading sires up until his passing in 2021. One of his leading sons, Grade 1 winner What A View, is also a former runner for Taste of Victory Stables.

IN THE FAMILY

Old English Rancho was founded by Ellwood Johnston. In 2018, Old English Rancho combined their breeding ventures and stallions with Harris Farms. Ellwood Johnston's great-grandson Johnny Hilvers is Harris Farms' general manager. Iconic Sky was bred by Old English Rancho, is sired by Harris Farms' Vronsky, and is still partly owned by The Ellwood Johnston Trust.
