I'llhandalthecash was purchased by Dark Horse Racing Stables for $150,000 as a two-year-old. She raced for the partnership of VinLaur Racing Stables, Dark Horse Racing Stable, and Taste of Victory Stables.

Cash broke her maiden in her second career start at Belmont Park. In her 19-race career, she captured two allowances at Saratoga, won the License Fee Stakes at Belmont Park, was third in the Floral Park Stakes at Belmont, and even finished 4th in the Intercontinental Stakes (G3) at Belmont.

Cash raced at seven different tracks: Saratoga, Aqueduct, Belmont, Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Kentucky Downs, and Gulfstream Park. In 2021, Cash was entered into the Fasig-Tipton Fall Mixed Sale. There she commanded a price of $220,000, purchased by the Freedman Brothers of Australia to begin a new career as a broodmare.

Maker is known for training Grade 1 winners Zulu Alpha, Hansen, Bigger Picture, Henley's Joy, Stately Victor, Furthest Land, Admiral Kitten, and Kittten's Dumplings. For Maker, Cash won an Allowance at Saratoga and was 4th in the Intercontinental Stakes (G3).
