Taste of Victory Stables currently has the pleasure of owning two half-sisters at the same time: Iconic Sky and Santaluz Dream. Their dam is Cultural Icon, an unraced daughter of Unusual Heat.
Iconic Sky has been a member of our stable since 2022. Born in 2019, this Vronsky-sired filly has won three races and has earned more than $115,000 in twelve starts so far. We’ve been lucky to see her win at Golden Gate and Del Mar and race at Santa Anita. She is currently at Golden Gate with trainer Andy Mathis.
Santaluz Dream was born two years after Iconic Sky. Sired by Smiling Tiger, this young filly has raced twice at Golden Gate for trainer Andy Mathis. She has yet to break her maiden but is still very early in her career.
Not only are these fillies in the same barn, but we’ve also had the cool experience of them running on the same day or weekend TWICE! They both raced at Golden Gate on February 10th and are doing the same this weekend. Iconic Sky runs in Race 4 on March 2nd while Santaluz Dream will attempt to break her maiden in Race 7 on March 1st.
